Response to Comment (Reselling shoes for profit)

Moonpoot817 asked "Son, if you get them cheap and early and what not then you should offer to ship them off and earn a profit."

I replied "Because I don't believe in re-selling, especially not for a profit just cause a shoe is hot (meaning out early before release date). The way I see it, is if I'm just gonna take a shoe to sell it for monetary gain, that's just 1 less shoe taken away from a fellow sneakerhead who'd actually love and cherish that shoe, You got young teenagers busting their ass for good grades on a report card to get some expensive kicks from their parents or doing chores to save up for kicks, to wait on line and then to have a reseller cop the kick before them is type foul (in my eyes)."

Yo def I know I came to you about those "Metallic Red" foams to get them since they was supposed to be a HOH exclusive. And them hoes don't look like they dropping anytime soon. But what about other kicks that you get early and discounted. Could you hook a nigga up if i wanted a pair of whatever or no? Not for something right now, but for future reference.

You don't have to approve this 'cause I know everybody else would start asking you about this shit too and start bugging you about it.

I couldn't have said it better myself. I'm not trying to knock anybody's hustle but I hate it. Like right now I've been looking for those blue lobsters and all these people trying to sell them to me for $300+. But that's just the way people operate now.

In a sense, I totally agree, but at the same time, I sell my kicks strictly because I know I'm not gonna wear them, and if there's someone out there that I can potentially help, then that's great. No sense in me having shit cooped up when someone might be out there looking for that pair in that size. It's a win/win; I get some bread, and the get a hard to find pair (for a good price).

Dudes do od with most of the prices, especially for newer released footwwear, but at the same time, It's a fortunate thing that consignment and re-sale exist.
