Bare with me, for I'm about to embark on a tirade of shit I see is wrong with sneaker companies, more or the less the sneaker company entitled Jordan Brand.
Being that I was one of the lucky ones (if you wanna call it that, fuck outta here, lol) to get my hands on the InfraRed Pack in my size wanted, I come home and open the pack to be more or less dissapointed, dissapointed in the shittyness and laziness of the ppl that work for Jordan Brand. Let me tell you why, well we all know the Infrared coloring is definitely not how it should look, how in the fuck of all fucks do you put the almost exactly right Infrared color on the recently released Spizikes, but cannot get it correct for possibly 1 of the biggest Jordan Brand releases of the year...this shoe is a classic and it was totally fucked up in many senses.
You honestly think if I worked for Jordan Brand that I'd give the greenlight on this pack once the samples arrived in my office? Fuck no, I'd tell em to re-do this shit, not only is this shoe not true Infrared, it's missing the leather backing from the OG's, it's missing the 3M reflection behind the eye cutouts in some spots...seriously WTF?!..being that you fooled and made most true Jordan Heads go and cop the Varsity Reds, (then release info that a Infrared pack was dropping, I myself had got word of this pack dropping like 2 weeks before the varsity red had officially dropped, but not alot of other heads knew yet) you could at least show customer appreciation and give the ppl what they want, I would have included everything possible to this pack as close as possible to the OG's, I would have made the jumpman on the back heel Infrared and left the AIR in black stitching as my "identity difference", I would toss out that fucking ice sole and replace it with the same so called "anti-yellowing" ice sole that can be found on the new foamposites...I bet a stack that any Jordan Head who read about this or seen this before the Infrared Pack's drop date would fucking go total ape shit insane hype more for these, tell me I'm fucking lying. Just knowing these old things were brought back and new things were added, would have sent the hype level through the roof.
Another thing is, Why the fuck are we getting shit like Piston VI's, Oreo VI's, and Laker VI's? Yeah, those are cool, but why not give us Olympic/USA VI's??
Maroon VI's (instead of Varsity Red's!!!) or September/Sport Blue VI's, give out the shit that we had as a kid or never had a chance to get as a kid.
Like why the fuck do we need another release for the White/Black IX release?...we just had one, why not give us the fucking PE White/Black BIBBY IX's?..it's the same shit basically but it's just patent leather, take off the Bibby from the back heel and make it happen.
Same with all these dumb ass Jordan I's, give us the Patent leather I's, the Black patent leather and Gold I's...
And cut all that 6 Ring, 60 Plus, Jordan Strong, bullshit out, save that fucking material and put premium shit on the retro's of OG's...trust me, you release more Quality than Quantity, but just release a greater volume of them on drop date so everyone can get a pair, you'll still make the same amount of money u do now or even more, u stupid fucks.
Seriously, Wake the fuck up.

I think JB is just lazy. I mean u never see MJ in their commercials anymore, and look at the quality stuff has been made lately. Pitiful, i agree, this really needs to stop. I'm fucking sick of all the retro 1s, fusions,weak as lookalikes, etc. In the end, all we want want are classics and hot colorways.

definitely agree on the shade of infrared being off a few touches. i remember them being way lighter on the og's and even the 2000 retros.
they og's were more or less the same shade of infrared that was used on the famous air max 90 colorway. that is probably where the inspiration came from for the vi's seeing as they dropped basically the following year after the 90.
that guy that touched his varsitys up with the terra cotta marker pen will be rolling. his customs look more like the og colorway than our packs!

back @ def. on your black varsitys? let me know if you do and post those pics up. you thinking of using the same marker? i have 2 pairs of black varsitys and was thinking of doing the same with one of them. would be keen on some more specific info in regard to how to go about it etc etc. peace.
