First Off...I LOVE this fucking shoe, I fell in love with them when they first dropped in December of 1993. I had the OG's, shoe is slick as fuck, it's so fucking comfortable, shit slides right on, and its light as fuck, it barely even feels like it's on. These are part of the pre-release batch, so they aren't out now, they drop sometime in April-May.
Now lemme explain why this shoe has such a deep place in my heart, this shoe basically saved my life...I was on Jamaica Ave and I was going to this clothing store named "Montego Bay", right next door to it was a sneaker shop, so I pass by and see these in the window, I'm like "oh shit" (as usual, lol) and I went in store, tried em on and went to cop em...so I'm at the counter and I hear gunshots, coming from the store next door, thats right, Montego Bay was being held up...as I turn around I see one of the gunmen run past the sneaker store front and then the sneaker store owner ran and closed down the steel gate shutter, so we just stayed in there for like 5-10 minutes with the shutter closed. I paid for my kicks and I just left the ave, when I came home I told my mom about what happened and we turned on the news and found out ppl had been shot and killed in there. I was lucky enough to see these kicks and go in cop em first before I went into that store because I coulda been shot or dead right now.
